Information on Library Classes

The Medical Library is providing the regular class(offline/online) and travel training class. If you need, please apply through the homepage.

Division

Characteristic

Offline Class

- We are selecting and teaching high-availability DB of medical library users.

- Offline class will be held in the Computer Education Room on the 3rd floor of the Medical Library.

Online Class (WebEx)

- Online education is available anytime and anywhere if you have access to the Internet.

- In real time, Instructors can train and attendees can practice.

- You can answer questions by chat.

Request a Library Class

- Customized Classes for researchers who cannot come to the regular program in the library.

- Services that the consumer can choose and apply for place, date, and education subject

 

 

Offline Class

  • In order to maximize the use of information resources, we are teaching high-availability DB of medical library users such as EndNote and PubMed.

  • Undergraduate and graduate students are able to freely attend all education conducted in the library.

  • At the beginning of each month, you can check the regular education schedule through the library mailing and homepage.

 

Online Class Using Method(WebEx)

Preparations

  • Check the access URL on the training guide page (program installation is required at first connection)

  • Set up audio functions such as speakers or headset

  • Before beginning class, please familiarize yourself with participation methods.

 

How to participate

  1. Apply for Education at the Library Website

  2. Click on the 'Join WebEx Meeting' link sent to you by email or click on the training access URL on the library homepage

  3. Install WebEx online training program (it will be installed automatically when you participate in training)

 

Request a Library Class

  • Application condition: It is possible for more than 10 students

  • Education Date & Place: Applicant can designate (available at computer library on the 3rd floor of the library, location limited to the Yeongeon campus)

  • Education Content: EndNote introduction/application level, application method of PubMed, Publishing ethics and anti-plagiarism programs, Search Strategy for Systematic Reviews, Library using methods, etc.
